Quick start guide of SicurNet eLearning platform

To take online training courses on this eLearning platform follow these instructions.

Taking the courses is easy!

Log in to the restricted area by entering the information you received with your username and password and click [LOGIN]

You get to the "My Courses" page where you see the courses that have been activated for you

Click on the title of the course you want to take.

If you are starting the course at this time, and if any of your personal data are missing in the platform, you will be sent back to the "Personal Profile" page to supplement the missing data. If your data is complete you will be directed to the "Training Contract", the document where you declare that you will follow the course personally and in its entirety avoiding any attempt to alter the course fruition controls.

Accept the training contract by flagging "I accept the contract" and then clicking "[ENTER]".

You will be directed to the course start page, where you see the percentage of completion, course description, teachers, and detailed program with all the learning content to be enjoyed.

To begin the course click on "[START COURSE]" or on the first highlighted item in the program.

If you have already started the course and want to continue it, when you are on the course page click on the green button "[RESUME COURSE]".

On the course detail page (which shows the course program and chapter list) note that you can access course content (movies, teachers video, documents, tests) by clicking on the content title, but only sequentially.

In fact, every single piece of content must be fully enjoyed in order to move on to the next piece of content. Be careful, because in case you exit a single piece of content before its end (or when you wish to review a piece of content that has already been fully enjoyed), you will have to enjoy it again from the beginning.

A few things to know...

While taking the course keep in mind that:

  • movies are considered completed only when you have viewed them completely;
  • video lectures consist of a lecturer's movie (on the left) and synchronized slides with commentary (on the right). You can access the slides progressively and see previews of all slides (outlined in blue are those you have already viewed and can review, outlined in red are those you have not yet viewed). At the end of each slide you must press the "play" command to the movie to go to the next slide.
  • the course certificate is available only when you have enjoyed all the learning content and taken all the tests provided in the course. (If there is an open-ended test, you must wait for the tutor's evaluation).

Having trouble? Contact the Tutor

Post and share comments and opinions about the course

You can share comments and opinions about the course you are taking with other trainees. Post your message in the "School Lobby" or "Course Room" Chat, or post a message directly on the bulletin board specific to each course for all users to see.
